Story
This month we legally became parents to 3 beautiful young adopted children. After over a decade of trying to have a family we feel so blessed that it has finally happened. Our children have had a difficult start in life. Since they have been placed with us we have tried to give them a loving home. We have now become a "forever family". Our son uses the words "it means no one can separate us. "
To celebrate this amazing milestone we would like to take the opportunity to give back. Our local church has been instrumental in making our children feel loved, gain confidence and given them opportunities to have fun and laugh again. The team at church have also spent considerable time with Neil and I to support us during the many difficulties we faced with our adoption application and we are so grateful.
Our church is called St. Thomas and St. Andrews Doxey Parish Church. It is located in an area where there are many looked after children with similar backgrounds to our own children. It is in a growing community and over the last year the Sunday School has gone from having one or two children to now twenty. It would be amazing to raise funds for this church so they can conduct critical building repairs and invest in more activities for local children and youth groups.
