I've been selected to represent Girl Guiding UK West Mercia to participate in a project which is focused on agricultural work and intercultural exchange with local students and children in Taiwan.

I will be doing volunteer work for 4-6 hours per day. This work will be carried out outdoors and will take place in an urban setting, within a building where the church and social enterprises share there premises. We will also be promoting cultural awareness and global understanding.
Although its going to be hard work, this will be an exciting venture for me.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Guide Leader at 9th Wednesbury for making this all possible for me!

Part of the project is to raise my own funds. The trip fee will cover the cost of flights and baggage, insurance, accommodation, activities, uniform top and international neckerchief.

My first fundraising event will be at a car boot sale at Saredon, Wolverhampton, WV10 7LJ on 29th of May, where I will be selling my childhood clothes and items. If anyone is in the area that day, willing to support me I will be glad to see them. All are welcome!
