I am fundraising to provide a FutureQuals Emergency Response Driving Course and the outfitting of a response car with lights and sirens.

This will allow emergency medical responders such as myself the ability to greater cover the East Midlands Region and provide life saving immediate medical care for the patients in this area.

Whilst many locations have a fantastic community responder program, the medical responder program involves clinicians (in this case a specialist Emergency Department Nurse) volunteering their own time to support the local ambulance service (East Midlands Ambulance Service) in their care.

Normally the training would have been provided by EMAS as classically Paramedics are trained in this role, but this is the first time a nurse has been accepted, on the basis of them raising their own funds for the course and lights.
