Dear Friends and Family of Michael Howling,

Some time has passed since we gathered together in person or in thought to remember and say our goodbyes to Mick. I think we can all agree that Mick preferred to live in the moment and planning for his time was certainly not in his character.

It seemed natural not to go forward with a so-called "Paupers Funeral", so we had a planned ceremony. The average price for a funeral seems to be around £3500. With some money Mick had and support from the social fund there remains £2,235 to settle the cost for Mick's funeral.

We would like to ask people to donate what they can to help pay for Mick's send-off. All donations are welcome and if we reach the target and more, then perhaps we could explore a memorial plaque or something like that. Thanks in advance.
