I am doing Tough Mudder on Sat 9th of September to raise funds for FACET. FACET (families and children with Asd engaging together) offers support to young people and their families that are going through the diagnosis process and those already diagnosed with autism or associated disorders. The group runs every Tuesday 4-6pm and provides the opportunity for children to engage in crafts, drama, physical activities or play with toys that best suit their needs. Caregivers and siblings also have the opportunity to talk to other people sharing similar experiences in a non judgmental environment. We plan to use this money to cover the room cost for the forthcoming year so that we can continue to support families.
