Decorate our sons' bedroom.

our son has two life threatening illnesses which we've been dealing with for the past six years. Whilst his room was age appropriate back then it's been a constant worry behind the scenes with finances stretched a couple of years ago when my husband lost his job just before Christmas and my own health deteriorating we've not been able to redecorate and replace the tired and broken furniture. My husband was out of work for four months but the repercussions of that time remain with us today as we now have debts which have added further to our stress. My own health has taken the toll (Neurosarcoidosis). The reason for the urgency to sort out the room for the boys now is due to my being informed yesterday I need to undergo a high risk operation within the month (ERCP & Sphincter of Oddi Manometry / Cholangioscopy). Whilst we had planned to save and do bits here and there in the boys room over the next couple of months I now feel it's a much more urgent project which is why with his 19 year old brother sharing the room; both need their own space now as at 15 our son is becoming more aware of his body. I'm trying to get my house in order in case the unthinkable happens ... I want my children to be settled. Which is why I approach you now. UPDATE - Operation brought forward to 6th OCTOBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
