I am running the Stafford 10K on Sunday 24th September to raise funds for The Jordern Burndred Memorial Fund to help the registered charity CRY.

My son is one of the lucky ones. His heart condition was detected by accident. To look at him you would never suspect it as he is always running around and hyper.

Others are not so lucky. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. If children were given routine heart scans these problems could be detected and monitored. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
