Story

As a lot of you will know my step dad Peter has spent the last 7 months in hospital following a subarachnoid brain haemorrhage followed by a stroke.

My family and I are so grateful for all the support and care Peter received during his time in various hospitals and we are over the moon that he finally got home recently.

Peter spent 4 months in Woodend hospital in the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit East wing. Everyone in the unit were absolutely fantastic and we can't thank them all enough. Therefore after all the hard work of the ward we would like to give a small token in return.

My brother John and I will be doing a skydive on the 8th of October. If that wasn't a crazy enough idea I will also be running a half marathon (13.1 miles) at the "Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run" in Glasgow on the 1st of October 2017.

Any donations would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much.
