Story
My name is Millie Gregory and I am a pupil at Langley Park School for Girls. In July 2018 I will be going on a humanitarian trip to Malawi in Africa. While there I will be helping the local community by building and refurbishing some schools hoping to improve the lives of the local people. We will also be going to try and improve the state of the environment and to enhance its well being.
This is an amazing opportunity to give something to a community in need and at the same time will help me acquire and improve my life skills.
The cost of the trip is £4,500 per pupil. This is a lot of money for me to raise however it is towards a very good cause and is a very well planned trip, so I am extremely determined to raise as much of the required amount as possible through fundraising.
Leading up to my trip to Malawi, I will be participating in several events including 5KM and 10KM fun runs. I am presently looking for sponsorship from companies, friends and family to help fund this fantastic opportunity.
On the 14th September I will be attempting The Three Peak Challenge it is a trek to the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales in one continuous attempt. The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the ultimate tests of physical endurance, mental stamina and effective teamwork.
Climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon is a testing trekking challenge but ultimately a highly rewarding adventure.
Ben Nevis 1345m (4413ft)
Scafell Pike 978m (3209ft)
Snowdon 1085m (3560ft)
In addition, I will be completing a 10KM in 2018 to further my fundraising efforts.
Please help me raise money for my humanitarian trip to Malawi by sponsoring me to complete this challenge.
