Story

we are team 33 of the NCS Cheshire west, we are 15 young people aged from 15-16 trying to fund raise for a local charity that specialises with children with autism and to help raise funds, we are volunteering our time in the program of 30 hours a week on different projects, as we have volunteered 4 days in a local allotment that caters for special needs young people as a safe haven to garden. We renovated the allotment to make it more acceptable able to grow produce to help funds of the allotment.
We also volunteered two full days at a care home for the elderly where we had activities and shared their company. We volunteered in a local hospice for a day of the good Shepard by helping them rearrange the store and getting the goods sorted to be able to sell and finally we are doing a walk of the Wirral way to park gate for a final push to raise awareness of the charity we are crowdfunding for.
The charity we are supporting helps provide support to people with autism by supplying a wide range of living options, day services and community support. They just don't support individuals they also support their families and try to close the gap of communication difficulties between autism and the community.
