Story
Morgina worked as a cook and cleaner in my home between 2011 and 2014 when Anna and I was were living in Dhaka. She's sharp, hard working and kind. She has also had a tough life with little support from family and very limited opportunities. She has been working as a maid and cook since she was 12. As a poor, single woman in Bangladesh, she has very few options to pull herself up.
Morgina has for some time wanted to start her own market stall selling women's clothing, but so far hasn't managed to save enough money. I'm confident she will give it a good go - since I have known her I have been impressed by her tenacity and hard work - over the past few years she has put herself through night school whilst working 6 days a week and has also learnt to speak English. I would love to help her realise this dream and hope a little nest egg like this could be really transformative for her.
