Story

HI may thanks for taking the time to read this, this is a snippet of what happened to a very dear friend of mine called Chris. Ive know Chris since he was a gobby fun loving 17year old he joined my chef yeam as a commis chef and soon excelled within my team, He had a passion for life and loved excitment. Fast forward a few years and chris had a Beautiful daughter and was loving life to the full... following some tragic chain of events Chris found himself in a very dark place and decide that he only had one option. The results of which have been life changing for himself and everyone around him, he has had a lengthy stay in several different hospitals with varying levels of care. Below is an over view from Chris "Following an accident and after 3 weeks in neuro intensive care in Southampton I was transferred to Salisbury District Hospital to their Orthopedic Dept where I was placed under the care of Mr Jacobs. Both legs needed fibias and tibias re aligning and re built plus I had flaps taken from my shoulder and thigh for plastic surgery to replace the missing flesh on my legs. This took quite a few long operations. The care I received was fantastic, the staff were dedicated and kind. My recovery is a long, slow process but without the initial help and treatment I wouldn't be doing as well as I am today.....they are all truly stars...

Chris still has a long revovery journey ahead of him but he has the support of his family and the encourament from his friends. His outlook is positive and a truely inspirational young lad who alot of people could learn alot from.

so ive decided to dust off my running shoes and raise some cash for Salisbury District Hospital i had originally planned on just running 1half marathon but that seems way to easy so thought id do 2 for safe measures... so show us ya cash! Much love and thank you
