Just before Christmas 2024, the staff at Newland Tap were hit with a sudden and unexpected closure due to their parent company going into administration.

We are raising money to support Erica and the team in re-opening the bar as an independent business. Newland Tap is an integral part of the community, and we all want to see it open again as soon as possible.

Running a pub in the current climate is hard enough; having to re-open, re-stock, and establish a new business is even more challenging.

All money donated will go directly to support Newland Tap in their efforts to re-open. A fundraising event will take place on Saturday 8th March from 2pm-midnight at The People's Republic, featuring music from bands and DJs connected to Newland Tap.
