Ryan represented the Northern region disability football team at the UK special Olympics in Sheffield in 2017 and along with his team mates he won a gold medal.
Ryan has recently received the fantastic news that he has been selected to represent team GB at the World Special Olympic games in Abu Dhabi in March 2019.
Disability athletes receive no funding at all so Ryan has to raise the £2,500 cost just to get to Abu Dhabi.
He also would greatly appreciate any finacial help towards training weekends and Northern region special Olympics events which he also has to pay to attend.
Any donations to help Ryan achieve this target would be greatly appreciated.
Ryan is currently working very hard on his fitness for the games and started running several weeks ago
He now runs three times a week and as well as his general fitness improving he is also losing weight at steady rate to ensure he is in prime condition to represent his country.
