On September 17th this year, I will be running my first (and last!) half marathon in order to raise funds for my school's link with a school and orphanage in Tanzania.

I will be travelling to Tanzania this October with 12 of our students and another teacher and will be spending two weeks visiting the local schools and orphanage. The money that the students and myself hope to raise will allow 10 of the Minaki students to visit the UK. It will also help to buy a new water tank for the local orphanage.

As you may know, I am not a runner and can't say I enjoy running, however, I am hoping that enduring a half marathon will hopefully help me to do my bit in supporting this amazing cause!
