You when something just gets you and you feel you need to do something to help in your own way. Well this is what happened to me the more I get to know Geraint and his amazing family the more I feel I just need to do a little bit more.
Since suffering from a near fatal asthma attack back in 2014 it left Geraint with severe brain injury he is now confined to a wheelchair and relies on his parents Julie & Chris and sister Kayley for all his personal care, feeding and the many medications he has to take. I have seen some of the struggles they've had an I'm in awe of how they just keep dusting themselves down and battling on so Geraint has the best possible chance of rehabilitation.
I am going to run the Cardiff half marathon on October 1st and I'm hoping to raise £200 for Geraint Richards Trust Fund if you could spare a few ££ please donate, you will be helping an awesome young man on his very long difficult road to recovery.
