Hi i'm Nikki i'm 31 and have friedreichs ataxia.' a long-term neurological progressive incurable illness.
Friedreich's ataxia is an inherited disease that causes progressive damage to the nervous system resulting in symptoms ranging from muscle weakness and speech problems to heart disease. Ataxia results from the degeneration of nerve tissue in the spinal cord and of nerves that control muscle movement in the arms and legs.

Due 2 illness progression ive decided it's time 2 get an off-road terrain power chair. This has been a difficult decision to make but many professionals who have agreed and believe this to be my best option.
I recently had some major falls on my own from my chair, I had quite bad brusing and my confidence was completely ruined.
The chair im hoping to get will be life changing in so many ways. It'll improve my independence, confidence and all round quality of life.
I hope everyone understands my situation and i didnt want to misslead anyone as your support means alot to me
