I have known my friend Craig Fozzard for 25 years now and throughout that time he has always been someone who is there at the drop of a hat for everyone else and throughout the last five and a half years he has also been a good friend of my husband Mark. Craig hasn't had it easy throughout his adult life but that all changed when he met and fell in love with Leanne and finally Craig had found his happiness. This happiness continued when Leanne fell pregnant but during labour there were complications and their little girl called Isla was born with brain damage, celebral palsy and development delays. Leanne is now Isla's full time carer.

United with the love for their little girl, Craig and Leanne did and still do everything they can for Isla but a few months ago the family was dealt another blow when Craig was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable lung cancer. Determined to still provide for his family, Craig still carried on working up until August this year when he was hospitalised with pneumonia and blood clots on his lungs. A second scan revealed the devastating news that the cancer had now spread to his bones and he has now been given only 2 years to live.

Unable to now work, all this family want to do is make special memories for Isla with her daddy in the time he has left but with no income coming in, they are not able to do this.

At 11am on Monday 25th September at Top Drawer Barber Shop in Earlsheaton, my husband Mark will be having all his hair shaved off by Lisa the owner and all money raised will be going directly to Craig, Leanne and Isla to help them make some special family memories together in the time Craig has left.

Any donations will be so greatly received no matter how small and pictures of the head shave will be uploaded onto Facebook after.
