Our dear friend Verity Dorkin is battling with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes and spine at the age of 34, she is currently having treatment and dealing with the side effects of chemotherapy. Despite this, Verity is managing to stay so strong and positive in her attitude even when she feels exhausted. She is unable to work at the moment and with things the way they are she may have to pay for further treatments, and specialist help amongst other things. With everything that Verity and her husband are going through we want to help out in any way we can. The target is £60,000.00 but we are trying to get there in small chunks that seem achievable. The team at Oakwood Builders and Developments Ltd are taking on Snowdon on Saturday 17th March 2018- a massive challenge for bacon sandwich eating builders!! There are loads of other fundraising events coming up too so watch this space including Alice Morrow running a marathon in Canada and Kate Goddard running one in Ireland!!
