I have decided to participate in a school program called World Challenge to Vietnam in 2018. World Challenge is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to travel to developing countries, explore the cultures and customs of the area, take part in a high altitude trek and gain global citizenship skills by supporting local community-based projects. Past projects have included building wells and classrooms for village schools; building facilities for orphanages & conservation projects to protect endangered wildlife and habitats.

I have to raise around £4000 to fund my entire expedition which includes flights, accommodation, equipment, insurance etc. I plan to do this by obtaining a part time job, organising fundraising activities such as a comedy hypnotist night, bag packing and cake sales and with any donations received on this page.

I will keep you up to date with my fundraising activities over the next year and send you a report on my trip and the community project we undertake on my return in august 2018 so that you can see how your support has made a difference to real people in Vietnam who do not have the luxuries and everyday utilities that we often take for granted.

Any donations, no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and go towards paying for my expedition.
