Story
Pace is fundraising for two causes close to the hearts of our people and our community - Motor Neuron Disease Association and humanitarian work in Ukraine. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we believe in giving back, and bonding together in hard times.

With this in mind, Pace employees will be fundraising over the course of the 2024/2025 financial year for these two very worthwhile causes. Our staff will be undertaking a series of challenging and unique fundraising activities to spread knowledge, awareness, and to raise funds for MND & Ukraine.

We will be running a number of events over the course of the year that will be open to all (please get in touch <3). We are always looking for corporate sponsors or an extra pair of hands.
Some of the major events we have planned include:
Three Peaks National Challenge
24th - 25th August 2024
To celebrate 33rd Ukraine Independence Day on 24th August, the Pace Team will ascend the three highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours. The team will be summiting:
▶ Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
▶ Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
▶ Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
What's special about the Pace4Life Three Peaks Challenge?
▶ We will play the trembita, a 3-meter-long Ukrainian shepherd's horn, at the top of each peak to symbolise our support for Ukraine.
▶ Our team will carry 40 kg of weight to represent the burden faced by those we're helping.
▶ On each peak, we will honour MND legends by performing a workout dedicated to:
- Doddie Weir (Scottish Rugby Union) on BenNevis
- Rob Burrow (English Rugby League) on ScafellPike
- Jason Bowen (Welsh Football) on Snowdon
▶ The Ben Nevis summit will coincide with a group of Ukrainians ascending Hoverla, the highest peak in the Ukrainian Carpathians (2,061 m), showcasing unity across borders and elevating Pace4Life to an international level!
