Hooves for Healing is a small not for profit charity, currently awaiting charity registration, We work with our clients providing person centered Pony Assisted Therapy on a 1-1 basis at our quiet unique venue. In the future we plan to visit schools, nursing homes, hospices with our therapy ponies, having already visited Claire House Children's Hospice in the past.
We are in need of financial help to cover transport costs, to purchase sensory products and equipment suitable for many differing disabilities, additional needs.
We have been providing Pony Assisted Therapy for just over a year now to young local people from the local area, we are surrounded by areas of deprivation and have been able to reach out to those areas too.
Jane Marsden a local runner for over 30 years has offered to run the Great Northern Run on Sunday 10th September, it is a half marathon . , she has run full marathons and taken part in triathlons too. Jane is known for raising funds for many needy charities across the Wirral as she knows how critical sponsorship is to keep these much needed services who support the emotional well being and development of those that need them.
Jane has a son called Jamie who has learning disabilities, cerebral palsy and Autism .

Many children have an unseen disabilities, anxiety, sensory issues, our work with the ponies can improve and help overcome many fears, issues they face in everyday life.
