Story
In memory of our beloved husband/father Paul, we have decided to donate money to two charities instead of flowers.
R.S.P.B (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). Paul loved to sit and watch the birds in our garden and had started to create a wildflower garden using recycled materials. He took pleasure in topping up their feeders and ensuring the small pond had plenty of water for the birds to drink and bathe. Paul also enjoyed taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch.
Hydestile Resident Animals is a local, small charity to us that is run by Lyn and Graham Cornick that rescues wild animals, foxes, squirrels and hedgehogs. In recent years, Paul had set up a wildlife camera and enjoyed watching the footage to see what animals were visiting our own garden.
We are asking people to sow Wildflower seeds (either in their gardens, or any outdoor space) as opposed to giving flowers at his funeral.
Thank you.
