Story
After serving in C company 4 para many years ago, I joined the police service and eventually became a Forensic Collision Investigator. Which means I go to all the very nasty crashes! After ten years of this, it took its toll and I became ill with post-traumatic stress and depression. After seeking help and working back to full health and operational duties, I was given the opportunity to attend a Police treatment centre in Scotland. However, the Police service were unable to fund the treatment, so I had to seek financial help elsewhere. The Teesside branch of The Parachute Regimental Association funded the treatment through their supportive welfare policy. I am, therefore, raising funds for the PRA by entering the PARAS 10 tab endurance event in Catterick on 3 September 2017. Please support me in attempting to pay back and show the gratitude deserved to the Teesside PRA. Thank you.
