Story

This is Keith. We met him a couple of months ago when he asked us to come and clear some items from the family home he grew up in Weston by Welland.

Keith is suffering from severe ill health where his neck is permanently bent down and he is waiting for a major operation to correct this.

Keith recently returned home to nurse his mum.Shortly after his mum passed away, a letter dropped on his doormat stating that his mum had fallen victim to equity release. She had borrowed 55k in 2005 and now owed 380k.

Keith was horrified as he didn’t know anything about this and soon realised he had to leave the family home that he should have inherited, which has resulted in him becoming homeless.

Keith has had to sell all of his own and his family possessions to fund temporary accommodation which is a hotel room as the council have nothing for him and won’t fund it either.

All of Keith’s services , Drs etc are based in Market Harborough so this is where he would like to find a home.

Tonight we took Keith for a meal at The eco Village , they were so welcoming and kind and gave Keith tokens for hot meals for when he needs them and welcomed him to return even just for company.

The wood oven which is situated just outside The eco Village donated Keith a pizza and garlic bread and bottled water tonight.

We are asking for donations of any amount to help keith to stay in suitable temporary accommodation and pay for his food and travel until he is offered a suitable tenancy from the local council

Thankyou in advance for your support xx

Please share and support Keith in his quest for his own home xx
