Story
Pembroke Park primary school is a fantastic little school which is growing from strength to strength.
It is working hard to improve in many different ways; higher educational outcomes for the children, increasing pupil well-being, promoting sustainability through environmentally friendly actions and attitudes, and learning to love, respect and value our natural world.
We have lots of ideas of how to help us make these important improvements, but a huge lack of funding.
That's why our EYFS team have decided to tackle the Avon Valley path, from Christchurch priory to Salisbury Cathedral in an epic two day walking challenge, in hope of raising some much needed funds. It will be a 34mile journey across our countryside, taking place on the 23rd and 24th July 2017.
If we raise enough money, we would like our first big project to be the development of a conservation area, with a wildlife pond, to benefit both our children and the environment.
We need you to help us educate our children about our local natural world, so they can develop an interest in conservation for the future.
Any help towards achieving this goal would be truly appreciated. Please support us if you are able. Many thanks.
