This is a very good friend of mine, Martin Dixon.

Martin volunteered for the local Blood Bike charity. these guys gave up their free time to deliver vital Blood supplies and test results between NHS hospitals at night and on weekends, thus saving the NHS tens of £1000 in taxi costs.

Martin was out on his blood bike last November when He was involved in an RTA........ Martin died at the scene.......leaving behind a Wife, Son and Daughter.

So far this year his family and friends have raised over £13,000 to buy a brand new

For my part, I am doing the Great North Run on Sunday to raise some funds to keep the bike on the road.
