Sadly our dad, Pete Thomas passed away peacefully on 11th August 2017, after a 13 year battle with cancer.

Everyone who knew him, will know how much he loved his horses and to go horse racing. In particular he loved attending the Gold Cup at Cheltenham racecourse, which he did for many years. Therefore we have asked for family flowers only at the funeral, and any donations to help towards the cost of a memorial bench.

With this in mind, we have set up this fundraising page in the hope to raise enough money for a memorial Bench at Cheltenham racecourse. Many of us feel that this is the perfect place to have a bench in his memory, as he always loved his time at the races!

Once we have enough money for the bench all other donations will be going to The Racehorse Sanctuary, which helps retired racehorses.
