Im Richard Kendrick the poppy appeal organiser for Rhyl North Wales.
2018 will be a 100 years since the end of WW1. Id like to raise money to help some of our local ex service people attend The Great Pilgrimage in Ypres next year to commemorate 100 years since end of WW1.
Also like to hold an event in Rhyl next year for locals to see what our service men and women do now and what they did 100 years ago. Teach children why we have a poppy appeal and what the money raised does.
Myself and friends will do the 3 peak challenge. Walk up Ben Nevis , Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24 hours. They are the biggest mountains in Scotland , Wales and England.
To do this i will lose 90lbs in weight over next six months.
