''Hi we are Andrew and Clair the parents of this lovely lady Cora.

Cora is a very special little lady. Cora was born with a genetic condition called Smith Lemli Opitz Syndrome (SLOS for Short)

This condition affects her motor skills, learning ability and her ability to communicate.

There is no pill or medical procedure to help Cora with her lifelong requirements.

Cora is currently button fed which means she takes nothing orally, only through a button in her tummy. This is not a permanent solution for us as her parents.

Unfortunately teaching Cora to eat is beyond our skills and requires specialist help.

She needs intense one to one sessions with specialists.

This would normally be covered by the speech and language specialists within the NHS, but these sessions are few and far between.

We have been recommended a specialist clinic in Austria that have helped many children with SLOS

This clinic can help wean Cora off of her tube and provide long term therapies to help her one day feed herself.

Unfortunately we as a family could not cover the cost of this intense treatment and accomodation and need the help of the public.

We could not express our gratitude enough to any kind hearted person who would be willing to help.

Cora has overcome so much in her short life and we would love for you all to help us get her eating in 2017.
