How it all started!

As many of you are aware, there has been a cycling team that developed amongst a few friends of Rene at The Red Lion. This team has shown their passion for cycling, and have organized a couple of French trips over the last 3 years, Ventoux, Le Grand Colombier, Col de La Biche to name just a few!

However, several discussions have been held regarding the route from Lands End to John O'Groats, so when this conversation became serious, we decided that if we were to organize such a significant, ride, then why not do this for charity!

The choice of The Pilgrims Hospice was our first choice, and as the work of this marvelous place has touched many of our lives, we put the feelers out and the response was phenomenal!

So here we are, and I hope this will be the blog of many because the ride itself will commence in May 2018. Over the next 8 months, we will be organizing several events at The Red Lion, but at any time, please, please donate and help us to reach our goal of £10,000.
