I am running the Great North Run to raise money for The LaunchPad Academy CIC - a Community Interest Company which my wife Jo Cameron runs alongside her business partner Beverly. They work hard to raise funds to help vulnerable young people, adults and veterans get back into the workplace.

Their adult services support people who have been away from the workplace for long periods of time due to mental health, long term illness or caring responsibilities with employability, business start up or retraining. The support work they offer for young people provides them with skills to get into employment, make the right career or education choices, and to be a great employee, student or entrepreneur.

Every penny raised will go towards helping these projects continue and make a difference in helping to turn around the lives of local people. This is a 'not for profit organisation' so all donations will go straight to those people who need it! www.thelaunchpadacademy.co.uk
