Story
In loving memory of a truly inspirational lady who lost her very short battle to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, yet fought to the end. Through this very short journey, all of which was spent as an inpatient at Warwick, Lesley was treated with dignity, respect and tireless care from the consultant, nursing staff and everyone that crossed her path whilst awaiting diagnosis and as an inpatient at Warwick.
Sadly Lesley died on Monday 17 April at 17:38 following a brief time in ITU. Again the nursing staff were exceptional in their care and dignity of Lesley, facilitating a peaceful death surrounded by those closest to Lesley.
Lesley’s wish was that any monies raised following her death be donated to Farries ward to emable them to purchase a new Observation assessment machine.. If we are fortunate enough to raise a significant amount of money then we will make a donation in Lesleys name to cancerresearch.org to enable research into AML.
