Hi, I'm a 34 year old man who is disabled. I have muscle damage to my legs so use a wheelchair. I also suffer from chronic fatigue and chronic pain. I can't propel myself far with my manual wheelchair because my energy levels and pain levels prevent me from doing so. So I'm reliant on others to push me about.

This makes me feel like a burden and pretty useless if I'm honest. I wish I could go to the local shop on my own and to the doctors but I have to be helped to do these basic things. This gets very frustrating and upsetting. I also feel I have no control over what I see or where I go really.

D to having to live on benefits, I don't have the money to purchase an electric wheelchair myself. I wish I could! This is why I have after being referred to the site by someone else who used this site, to ask for help. Getting this wheelchair will improve my life no end and would mean more to me than I could ever put into words.
