Having suffered a heart attack in June this year I had a stent fitted and was subsequently offered a place on the Lincolnshire Cardiac Rehabilitation programme.

The team of fantastic cardiac nurses and a superb fitness instructor restored my confidence and set me on a path to get fitter and healthier.

The course I attended was in a state of the art gym in Louth, but the team also run courses at Burgh le Marsh Village Hall where the equipment is really outdated.

Most of the money I raise will go towards updating their equipment there.

I would also like to contribute some money to the HSBS which provides financial help and support to hunt staff who may need it for whatever reason.

I am intending doing a sponsored bike ride - on a non electric mountain bike - from Belvoir to Brocklesby via Blankney, Burton and Belchford. 5 Bs!

The distance is around 100 miles and I intend to start on Tuesday 10th. October and reach Brocklesby on the 12th.

That should test my 64 year old legs!!
