Professor Roger Wootton was passionate about inspiring and educating next generation of aerospace pioneers and experts. In memory of Roger, his family have decided to support the Royal Aeronautical Society Centennial Scholarship.

The Awards provided by the Scholarship include support towards:

- National programmes to encourage young people’s interest in the aviation industry and aerospace engineering

- Postgraduate tuition fees to enable young people to undertake Master’s programmes such as Air Transport Management and Aerospace Vehicle Design

- Final year MEng students

- Completion of aerospace-related post-doctorate research projects

Roger was a longstanding member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and had a passion for aerospace from a young age. He worked tirelessly to help and develop others from all over the world to improve the Aerospace industry. Any donations are very welcome to help continue Roger's work, to continue to inspire the next generation.
