Story
Claire haddon mum of three, has taken on the challenge of running her first Great north Run, she has took on this challenge, to help Our scent hound rescue, claire and family adopted two hounds ( a year apart ) from us after falling in love with their wonderful nature,
Claire is running this years GNR to help raise funds for Foxhound Welfare UK< the only specialist Scent hound Rescue,
We rescue rehabilitate and re home unwanted and abused scent hounds, and are always in need of funds for our food, vet , and emergency boarding fees, we fund raise all year round to we can continue to help these hounds,
Scent hounds are a active, social breed, that are driven by their noses, many come to us because people can no longer cope or haven't realised the work that is required by them to ensure a scent hound is happy in a forever home,
We are a non kill rescue which means hounds aren't put to sleep unless under veterinary advise, we keep all hounds till we find forever homes for them, we also always take our own back, so if change of circumstance we will happily have them back,
we fundraise and do awareness events all year round to promote our work we do,
Thank you for your donation and reading a little on the work we do,
