Story

When he was 7 he developed a degenerative eye condition called optic nerve atrophy and his eyesight is gradually deteriorating as a result.

With help and support we can get medical treatment in Germany to help him see better again as there is no treatment currently available in England.

The treatment is non-invasive electrical stimulation which can stabilise the eye sight or improve it compared to present.

At present Samuel is classed as partially sighted and requires significant additional support at school. His poor eyesight does not stop him from doing what he wants to do; however, if his vision continues to deteriorate he will find he is restricted by his vision in future.
