I am running the Great North Run for the first time to raise money for these two beautiful girls who have cruel battens disease. The girls Nicole, 6 and Jessica 2 have a life limiting condition for which there is currently no known cure. The illness will rob them of their ability to move, see and function normally before ending there life prematurely. It currently affects just 40 people in the UK. My daughter brought this story to my attention last year when she came home from school wanting to fund raise for the girls, she painted a load of drawings and sold them at the xmas fair, she raised £100. This got me thinking that i would love to be a part of this fundraising campaign and hope to raise as much money as possible so the girls can tick of a bucket list of exciting adventures.
