I've raised £2000 to help Nova Sports and Coaching AND Move the Mind equine therapy change families lives for children who have hidden disabilities like autism

Sarah and Jenny are walking 110K of the South West coastal path to celebrate two milestone birthdays that total 110 years! To mark this momentous occasion they are driven to raise both awareness of, and money for, two local charities that support families (like Sarah's) with children who have hidden disabilities like autism.
"Without Alex and Jenny from Nova Sports and Coaching https://www.novasportsandcoaching.co.uk providing 1:1 regular weekly sessions for Nick throughout the pandemic it would have been a terrifying experience. For many children with autism changes in routine feel life and death and having the routine of every Thursday morning with Alex made Nick feel safe and that the world made sense. The weekly after school club means that Nick has the chance to experience what neuro-typical families have. Nicole at Move the Mind https://www.movethemind.net/ always has her farm gate open for Nick which means he has some freedom to wander when he needs to calm and regulate his emotions/senses."
The money raised from this walk will enable Nicole to install electricity into the barn so that they can help even more families through the Winter months (opening after 4pm). For Nova the funds will provide greater financial certainty meaning they can plan after school clubs and 1:1 support further into the future.
