Story

The Centre of Hope is a project close to my heart, which reaches out to the Sudanese refugee children of North Africa. Over a period of a month, I visited and taught at the Centre, and saw first hand the importance of providing education for this forgotten group of wonderful children.

The project aims to empower this community to help themselves, so Hope for MENA supports three local teachers to deliver free education to forty five refugee children to prepare for school. Before the program at the Center of Hope, the children were on the streets, killing time and getting into trouble. Now these children have the opportunity to attend preparatory classes four days per week, where they are provided with a lunch, notebooks and pencils.

Your donation today will help provide: school supplies, teacher's salaries , meals and Venue expenses.
