Delaval to Berwick (and back again) Cycle Challenge!

The Seaton Delaval Arts Centre is located at the heart of our small village and is a community hub for the arts and so much more. Ran by a small team of dedicated volunteers with no paid members of staff, the venue is used for a number of different uses including regular shows and performances, weekly fitness and sports classes, coffee mornings and a range of other events to bring the community together. Through our Pantomime Society we also give the opportunity for young and old to take part in amateur theatre both on stage and off through musicals, cabarets and our popular Christmas Pantomime which entertains over 1000+ local residents at family friendly prices.

Four of our incredible volunteers; Michael, Neal, Chris and Stu are taking on an epic cycling challenge this August to help raise funds for repairs, ongoing redevelopment and maintenance of our community arts hub.

On Saturday 14th August they'll be setting off from the main entrance of the Arts Centre and cycling over 70 miles to Berwick upon Tweed. Then guess what.. they've got to get back home too! The next day they'll do the return leg, cycling back to the Arts Centre and completing over 140 miles in two days. They've been hard in training and are raring to go!

The funds raised by this challenge will go towards roof repairs, new external doors, fixtures and fittings and much more. We know times are tough and these are unprecedented times, but if you can support us anything you can give is incredible.
