Story
Fionn is my nephew who lives in Dublin. He is a really sweet fun-loving boy who loves combine harvesters, trains and planes. He was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer in January 2017. He has had very aggressive chemotherapy since then and a stem cell transplant in July in the Children's hospital, Crumlin, Dublin. They are providing excellent care for Fionn and we are very grateful. Fionn will need additional treatment such as dental treatment, hearing aids, speech therapy and help in school. He may need further treatment abroad which would not be funded by the national health system in Ireland. It would also be nice to fund some trips for him when he is well enough. Fionn's mother had to give up work because of his illness and his father (my brother) has had to reduce his working hours significantly to care for him. This has put financial strain on them.
First and foremost please pray for Fionn.
If you can, please contribute to this fund. All funds raised will go to Fionn and the extra support he will need. We would like to make his life as comfortable as possible as he has been through so much since he became ill in December. We appreciate your support.
I am doing a 10km run at The Olympic Park in January 2018.
