I am shaving my hair on the 1st of September to raise money for the TOGs centre in New Inn, Pontypool. This centre is an amazing place that allows young people of all backgrounds with disabilities to come and socialise at a youth club, an opportunity that would not normally be available to a lot of the service users. Unfortunately it is massively under funded. We do rely heavily on the generosity of outside sources and other funding schemes. However this is sometimes not enough and so we do a number of fundraising activities a year. This year I have decided to take the plunge and shave my hair, for me this is absolutely terrifying because I have always expressed myself through my hair but for such a worthy cause I am willing to do this.
