The messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said wealth will not be decreased by giving to charity

On 24th September i will be taking part in my first half marathon in order to raise money for the people of Palestine. This will be a tough challenge for me as I suffer from Asthama, and attacks that I have had in the past have led to hospital admissions. But no doubt with prayers and support I will be able to do this.

The Palestine-Israeli conflict has become increasingly dire since 1948. This illegal war has resulted in the loss of homes and lives of the Palestinian people, causing over 5 million deaths and 4.6 million Palestinians displaced from their homes, whom are now seeking refuge in places such as West Bank, Gaza and Syria.Whether you believe in a God or not, I would like to think we all believe in Humanity. It would be injustice to sit quietly and turn a blind eye when I know I could do something, even something small, to help the people of Palestine. And I pledge you to please do the same. Everyday a Mother, a Father and child are viciously killed in Palestine and it is always unheard. Their voices matter and we need to help them in whichever way we can. Please help me in this quest to help the Palestinians. Even a £1, may be insignificant to you and me but it provides hope to the Palestinians, and hope is priceless. Your money will go towards a local charity at a village in Palestine, who provide safe warm shelter, food and clothes for those who need it most.
