Story

Alan O'Flaherty, Liam Power and I are running the Galway Half Marathon (https://rungalwaybay.com/) on 07 October 2017 to raise much needed money to support the excellent work that the underfunded Physiotherapy Department at the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital (https://www.sivuh.ie/Departments/Physiotherapy/Home.html ) in Cork City do on a daily basis.

This is cause close to my heart as my son Luke is currently being treated by the Staff at the Physiotherapy Department at the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, with my family and I benefiting from and able to witness first hand the excellent level of care and support they provide to all of their patients.

Alan, Liam and I ask you to donate to this good cause as we put ourselves through the turmoil of running 21.1km of the half marathon to raise vital funds for this excellent cause.

We ask that you donate as much or as little as you can manage, as to coin a slogan from well known supermarket "every little helps".

Thank you for your support,

Paul Dempsey, Alan O'Flaherty & Liam Power
