Spelthorne Mental Health Association run a friendly social centre with therapeutic classes in art, woodwork, soft crafts, dressmaking and papercraft, plus transport to & from the centre, and outings to various places. They would like to expand the range of activities to relaxation, keep-fit, cooking, gardening and even a choir.

I suffered from depression a few years ago and therefore mental health issues are very close to my heart. I know a lot of people who have suffered as well and one of my close friends even took his own life because of depression… As there is so much talk now about raising awareness and “promoting” mental health, I would like to do something too 😊

All the money collected will be donated to SMHA to help them to help others! They need a new mini bus to give other people some happiness, they need to buy materials for the classes and pay some of the tutors. So please, be as generous as you can!
