3 Years ago my friends had a beautiful little girl who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, that little girl is called Sofia. Sofia's type of CF was very rare and this meant she was eligible for a potentially life changing drug treatment at age 2. Sofia has now been on that treatment for sometime and I am very glad to report she is doing amazingly well.

Sofia's parents David and Emma were overwhelmed with the support and treatment she and the family receive. Sadly for other families this isn't always the same and the treatment isn't always as successful. This is were the Soldiers come in!

We decided to set up a fund raising group to support the CF Trust who support families nationwide and support research into life changing treatments and care. Also we support CHIEF (Cystics of Hull Independent Equipment Fund) who provide equipment and support for families in our local area. We have raised over £8000 to date and want to break the £10000 barrier this year!

We at Sofia's Soldiers want to do our little bit to help others like Sofia who through no fault of their own face this health battle.

In the words of Sofia's parents 'we want a life unlimited for all CF sufferers'.

The Soldiers will be taking part in multiple fundraising events across 2021.
