**Despite the name Southwark 'Cypriot' Day Centre, we are a diverse multi-faith and multi-ethnic elderly community centre**
The Southwark Cypriot Day Centre was established in 1984. We are the only Community Centre in South London who delivers a service specific to the needs of the Cypriot elder people, and people with disabilities. We currently have over 200 registered members.
We are a registered charity, no. 1073228
Despite cuts of government funding we have fought hard to sustain the services which are much needed by the most vulnerable of our community. We are the only link for our members and users to services available in the borough which include support with benefits, welfare rights, health and well-being, lunch provision daily - freshly cooked at the premises, games, completions, recreational activities to stimulate health and well-being including optician, chiropody, trips and excursions.
Without our support, many would struggle with loneliness poverty and care needs. Our services are tailored to support everyone to enjoy their later life and their community.
Our older adults need us to provide our services, we must support them to sustain their quality of life. We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the support of community minded individuals we will not be able to support our community, your community, your elders and your future services.
