Latest Fundraising Event
As part of our fundraising efforts, we are asking you to join us in a camping spectacular! To take part you will need an outdoor space, blankets, pillows and jimmy jams - tents, campolines (trampolines which double as a camp bed), and hammocks are optional.
We ask that your family and friends sponsor your night sleeping under the stars, or alternatively you can pay a £10 donation for taking part. All money raised will be used to donate autism-related, health and well-being books to autistic children and adults, to their family members, and to the professionals who support them.

About Spectropolis
My name is Claire. I am mum to lovely Seb and wife to Dan. I am an Educational Psychologist by day and a project worker by night/weekend/whenever I can find the time. 😉
Spectropolis started as a blog, a place for me to share my thoughts about our son’s diagnosis and day-to-day triumphs and struggles. It also helped me to connect with others. I soon realised that knowledge was empowering. I was lucky to have many people around me who were supportive and knowledgeable - I know not everyone has that available to them.
That was the spark that ignited the idea of Spectropolis - Pay it Forward. The project aims to provide reading materials which empower the reader to make informed decisions about themselves, or someone who they care for on the autism spectrum.
Spectropolis - Pay it Forward donates autism-related, health, and well-being books to people on the autism spectrum, to their family members and to people who support them.
We also strive for that beautiful ripple effect that happens when people share and discuss the knowledge that they have gained. Therefore, we ask that the books continue to be passed onto others who would like to read them, once they are no longer needed.
We fundraise through family organised events, such as our 100km walk along the Gower Peninsula over a 24 hour period, and the mammoth task of walking Pen Y Fan 10 times in 24 hours! We were also recently able to secure some funding from the National Lottery.
